Privacy Policy
Last updated and effective: October 9, 2026
This policy explains what information this website collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. Christine Michele Events is a small event-planning business based in Orange County, California. We collect only what we need to answer your inquiry and plan your event, and we never sell your information.
1. Who we are
This website, christinemichele.events (the "site"), is operated by Christine Michele Events ("we", "us"). Questions about this policy can be sent to hello@christinemichele.events.
2. Information you give us
- Inquiry form. When you send an inquiry, we collect your name and email address, and, if you choose to provide them, your company, event dates, location, approximate budget, the kind of support you need, how you heard about us, and your message. Only your name and email are required.
- Booking a call. The booking calendar on this site is provided by Cal.com. When you book an introductory call, you give Cal.com your name, email address, the time you choose and any notes, and Cal.com passes the booking to us. Cal.com handles that information under its own privacy policy.
- Email and calls. Anything you send us directly, by email or during a call, is kept as part of our conversation with you.
3. Information collected automatically
- Server and security logs. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, keeps standard technical logs when you visit: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages requested, and the date and time. We use these only for security, performance and troubleshooting.
- Cookies. This site does not set cookies of its own and does not use analytics or advertising trackers. The embedded booking calendar is provided by Cal.com and may set cookies it needs to work.
- Fonts. The site's typefaces are delivered by Google Fonts. Your browser requests the font files from Google, which receives your IP address in the process. See Google Fonts privacy.
- Spam protection. The inquiry form uses automated checks to block spam. If we enable Cloudflare Turnstile, Cloudflare processes limited browser information to tell people from bots; it does not show advertising or build a profile of you.
4. How we use information
We use the information above to respond to your inquiry, schedule and hold calls, prepare proposals and deliver our services, keep ordinary business records, keep the site secure, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
5. Who we share it with
We share information only with the service providers that help run this site and our business, and only as needed for that purpose:
- Cloudflare hosts the site and protects it from attacks (privacy policy).
- Resend delivers inquiry-form submissions to our inbox (privacy policy).
- Google Workspace provides our email (privacy policy).
- Cal.com provides the booking calendar (privacy policy).
We may also disclose information if the law requires it or to protect our rights, your safety or the safety of others. We do not share your information with third parties for their own marketing, and we do not allow third parties to collect information about your activity across other websites through this site.
6. How long we keep it
We keep inquiries and correspondence for as long as needed to respond to you, work together, and keep reasonable business records. If you would like your information deleted, email us and we will remove it unless we have a legal reason to keep it.
7. Your choices and rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you at any time by emailing hello@christinemichele.events. We will respond within a reasonable time.
California residents. This site does not sell or share personal information for advertising. "Do Not Track" signals: this site does not track visitors across other websites, so it does not change its behavior in response to Do Not Track signals from your browser.
8. Children
This site is for businesses and adults planning events and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us information, email us and we will delete it.
9. Security
The site is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, inquiries are delivered to a protected business mailbox, and access to our systems is limited to the people who need it. No method of storing or transmitting information is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the updated version here with a new "last updated" date. For significant changes we will also note the update on the site.
